Course Overview

Become a qualified roof plumber and start your career in an in-demand industry. Get on-the-job training and gain experience working with roofing systems in this practical course.

Training is delivered in classroom-based delivery (one day per week) combined with practical training activities. Written learning activities will reinforce theoretical knowledge, and skills will be practised in the workshop and workplace where learnings will be placed into context.

Our Trainers & Assessors maintain regular communication with the student’s workplace to validate the acquisition and application of skills on the job. The units of competency are sequenced in a way that allows a logical progression. Participants will be provided with professionally presented reference material to assist them to develop their knowledge and skills.

Recognition

The qualification and units of competency are nationally recognised and provide individuals with a qualification that can be used across Australia. MPA Training will issue a qualification within 30 days of the final assessment being completed.

Students are required to present to class in attire suitable for participation in practical activities. This includes drill trousers, drill shirt as well as safety boots.
