The Clarrie Wymer Awards for Excellence in Certificate III in Plumbing were first presented in 1988 to acknowledge the most outstanding Master Plumbers Apprentices.

The Awards were established to encourage the pursuit of excellence amongst our apprentices and to recognise and acknowledge the achievement of that excellence.

Clarrie Wymer was a stalwart of the Master Plumbers Association over a period of more than 45 years. First becoming a member of the Executive Committee in 1943, Clarrie made a significant contribution to the furthering of the cause of plumbing as President, Vice-President and Treasurer for 24 years from 1956 – 1980.

The 2026 Clarrie Wymer Awards will be presented at the Master Plumbers NSW Industry Awards, 11 September 2026.

Nominations close 27 July 2026.
